All India Federation of Bengali Buddhists is a socio- cultural organization established in 1972 for the all- round welfare of Bengali Buddhists scattered all over the country. It has the distinction of earning S.T. status for the Bengali Buddhists of West Bengal. The Publication of “Banglay Bauddhadharma” in 2006 is a significant contribution to the study of Buddhism in Bengal. Its quarterly newsletter “Federation Barta” has become widely popular. At present Federation is engaged in propagating pure Theravada Buddhism through social integration. The permanent office of the Federation is located at Pandit Dharmadhar Satabarshiki Bhavan, Room No. 203, 50R/1A, Pandit Dharmadhar Sarani (Pottery Road), Kolkata 700 015.
